Luthiery, the art of building and repairing musical instruments, is largely responsible for generating the raw material of music. As usual, the Cartagena Music Festival gives it a special place, generating a series of activities that will bring the public of the festival to music and to this beautiful trade.

For the fourteenth edition, the Luvii Centers of the Salvi Foundation will bring to Cartagena an offer of talks, academic conferences, clinics for the maintenance of wind instruments and rubbed strings, integration and social participation activities, workshop for the construction of bagpipes and Caribbean drums and recreational activities for children around the construction of musical instruments. Together with the Instrument Bank of the Salvi Foundation, the exhibition of high-bill musical instruments manufactured in our workshops will be held.

In this way, the Lutería Centers will have an active participation inside Suena South America, the Center of Musical Experiences of the Cartagena Music Festival. This event that will take place at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center will also feature the presence of representative exhibitors in the field of luteria who will bring their products to the Colombian public.
