The project of the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra (OSC), was born in 2017 with the purpose of motivating a social, artistic and cultural growth in the city of Cartagena. Young Carthaginians between the ages of 16 and 29 who practice music in the city and have an interest in developing their own musical and creative capacities find in the orchestra a space for integration and high quality collective musical practice. On the occasion of each of the editions of the Festival, its members are chosen by convocation through audition. The activities carried out by the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra seek to generate an important impact on the careers of Cartagena's musicians as well as dynamize the cultural life of the city thanks to local talent.
